Relisting at a stupidly low price as I am spending $400 a month in NYC keeping this car when I don't use it. I have to admit Im surprised I haven't sold such a sorted, rare performance sedan for the money on offer so hope this new price is appealing. Its well below market for this model. Anyway, hopefully someone out there wins a great deal here and loves it as much as I did. This is a beautiful car and is well sorted. The photos don't do it justice Up for grabs is my beautiful Jet black 2005 Jaguar S Type R. Arguably the best color combo for the S Type R, with black on black leather in the later, more desirable facelift year. - 400 HP from the factory, huge bang for the price from the 4.2L supercharged v8- Well maintained, no expense spared with documentation from the last three owners. Previous work includes new headlights (replace aging items), replace OEM Jaguar radiator fan, thermostat, suspension reworked, sunroof replaced etc. $1000's spent to keep it in top order- Original manual, paperwork in glove box - $850 spent recently on recondition of 18" Jaguar wheels , with Continentals all round / 80% tread. Small recent curb rash on two rims but minor. Rims condition 9.5/10- Jet black leather interior, R spec bucket seats in excellent all round condition with no rips/ tears- Only sensible modifications, including Mina R Spec twin exhaust (so you can hear the v8 gurgle and pop) and aftermarket air filter- Tinted windows- All factory options included such as working GPS/ sat nav, heated seats, reverse sensors, sunroof, Alpine CD changer, surround system etc- Gas mileage is 17 city / 23 highway mpg (but what did you expect? this aint no Tesla)- Owned by an enthusiast - Shiftable 6 speed J gate trans - 122,800 miles but looks, feels and drives like its a lot less- Clean title in hand. Carfax is at your cost. It will show prior 6 owners plus no major accidents / clean history *No known issues **Note, as with any second hand car there are small stone chips visible in paint in places, tiny wear and tear dings in places but hard to see (supermarkets etc). Paint is in 8/ 10 condition all round and can be polished to look near new. Leather has small amounts of wear and tear but for its age is minimal. Seat bolsters, leather condition is 8/10. Small / tiny cosmetic cracks visible in some interior panels due to age. Some small wear present on steering wheel***Owner is not a mechanic, but at the same time the car runs and drives as it should with no known issues to the owner at the time of sale. Mechanical inspections welcome Reason for sale: Car is simply not needed. I purchased this car purely for weekend trips to get out of the NYC area and enjoy the sound, look and feel of such a car. In reality, I hardly use it. I usually just to do grocery runs with my wife on a saturday morning. I pay $250 a month on a garage and then insurance on top. Sadly, it makes no sense to keep it anymore. This is ALOT of car for the price. Its a great alternative to a BMW M3/ M5, Audi S4/ RS4 or Mercedes AMG, e63/ e55, c63 but with the added benefit of being much rarer (1300 produced in '05). This car is one of the last analogue supercharged v8s produced in the modern era and will no doubt become an appreciating classic, particularly in the desirable black on black combo.
